    If the screen turns off the browser may put the tab to sleep; this option stops the screen from turning off while an alarm is set.

    For important wake-ups also set your phone's own alarm; a browser alarm will not ring if the page is closed.

     

    This tool only works while the page is open; it will not alert you if you close the tab.

    Frequently asked questions

    Will the alarm ring if I close the tab?

    No. Websites cannot play sound while the page is closed. This page must stay open in a tab and the device must stay awake; the Keep the screen on option helps with that.

    Does the alarm depend on my device clock?

    No. The alarm is checked against a clock synchronised with the server, so it rings at the right moment even if your device clock is a few seconds off. The time zone comes from your device.

    How do I snooze the alarm?

    While it rings, press Snooze 5 min and it rings again five minutes later. The Close button silences it; repeating alarms ring again on the next chosen day.
